Don’t Jubliee Yourself | Part One
Prologue
We dive deep into the story of Ever Watchful of the Icy Winds in a playable prologue. We learn of Arcta, a nomadic people made from numerous clans who have wandered around the lands of Cailum, drawn to the leylines and rifts that can materialise from them.
We learn of the events of Ever’s patrol on the night that changed her future, and the reasons why Ever is on the path that she chose.
Present
After their refreshing rest, the group are introduced to a carnival merchant called Miguel. Miguel is the proprietor of ‘Tricks From Treks’, a travelling merchant who dishes out prizes in exchange for tokens that patrons can win.
Caithe immediately spots an emerald pen that draws her attention, as she contemplates writing letters to Glyss Merrinwyn back at IAFA in Arcfell. Migueal has a number of interesting knick-knacks from places across Cailum, including a ‘Chest of Preserving’ and a ‘Dreamer’s Mask’, but the item that catches the party’s attention is, inevitably, a bag of beans.
As Zagreus, William and Ever discuss what prizes they should pick up, they begin to notice a small number of people running by. Hearing a number of screams and seeing more people run quickly by the tent, they make their way out to see what the fuss is about. Hurling towards them at that moment they spot a caravan thrown towards them. Ducking, it flies inches above them where it crashes into the nearby tent.
What stands before the group is a twisted version of Mr Ebony Wood, now more puppet than man.

Don’t Jubliee Yourself | Part Two
Following on from part one, the group immediately jumps into action.
The massive undead form of a large, puppet version of Ebony Wood lunges towards the group as he engages the adventurers that abruptly ended his performance, only an hour ago.
As William takes a sly chance to ask Miguel for some help and feeling under pressure, Miguel tosses over a bag of magical beans.
Ever Watchful blesses her companions to protect them from the undead aura of this twisted version of Mr Ebony Wood, whilst Zagreus teleports to get a better view and casts Eldritch Blast.
Caithe uses this opportunity to bind Mr Ebony Wood to keep him in his place. Whilst she moves closer to the Master of Puppets, Decker and Zagreus spot that she appears to have smoke-like wings that protrude from her back.
Ebony, growing frustrated by the tenacity of the adventurers, casts ‘Suggestion’ on Ever, telling her to dance like one of his own puppets.
As the fight rages on, screams from the guests ring out as they flee the carnival and the chaotic fight happening at the centre. The guards are alerted and begin to rush down the hill towards the events occurring in the carnival.
Nadya calls on help from the guards as the party continue to battle Mr Wood in his full, puppet-master form. Who will survive the Puppet Master’s wrath?
